Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance or who are paying out-of-pocket have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of mental health services.

You have the right to receive a written estimate of the expected charges for services before your appointment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
